AidFacilitator is seeking a consultant in Baghdad, Iraq to support one of its anticipated evaluation project in Iraq. This position may involve some travel within the country.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as project coordinator for Iraq projects overseeing program evaluation, administrative, contractual, and financial aspects of projectsWork with the Finance Department to track project spending and provide periodic financial forecastsMaintain project databasesEnsure that projects comply with policies and proceduresServe as proposal coordinator; research and write sections of project proposalsTailor contract templates for consultants, subcontractors, and clientsHandle logistics for consultant and staff travel, relocation, and project eventsSearch consultant database to identify consultants; enter consultant CVs in the consultant database for evaluationManage project deliverable and write evaluation reportsConduct research or data analysis and prepare draft reports (or inputs) for senior staff or project consultants


Graduate in social science, development studies,international development/affairs, economics, or related fieldA minimum of five years of experience in a project role relevant to the international development fieldRelevant overseas work or internship experience in IraqExperience with USAID-funded and /or other donor-funded projects strongly preferredStrong analytical and computer skills, including spreadsheet and financial trackingPerson must be based in IraqAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills (you will interact with employees, consultants, partners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors)Strong writing skills, which will be assessed during the hiring process
