Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Engagement Coordinatorto join the Major Giving team. Major Giving in Sightsavers Ireland is an income category that is growing year on year and is an area that has the potential to grow significantly in the next few years. The Major Giving team manage three specific areas; Trusts and Foundations, Major Donors and Corporate Partnerships.

Location: Ireland, Dublin 1

Salary: c 34,000 based upon experience

The Corporate Engagement Coordinatorwill report to and work alongside the Head of Major Giving to coordinate the growing number of corporate engagement campaigns that the Major Giving team are delivering each year.

About the Role

The Corporate Engagement Coordinatorplays an integral role in the team, delivering significant income on key campaigns to ensure continuous growth for Sightsavers Ireland. They will be required to:

manage the portfolio of Trusts and Foundations in the Irish market to include proposal and report writingcoordinate the corporate engagement campaigns in the Major Giving calendardrive new corporate fundraising initiativesresearch and identify new opportunities and initiativessupport the process of developing potential donorsprovide excellent donor care to both new and existing Sightsavers supportersassist in events that are key in growing relationships with new and existing donorscold call to identify key contacts within organisations for staff fundraising initiatives.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

brilliant communication skillsexcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Wordmarketing skills and experiencethe ability to use a variety of different software systemsgood analytical skills in order to prioritise and plan opportunitiesexcellent interpersonal skillsan interest in the charity sector or prior experience in sales and marketing
