The organization

Center for Social Integrity (CSI) is a registered Myanmar civil society organization established in Yangon, Myanmar in March 2016.

CSI is explicitly non-political, non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious. The organization was established to respond to the current need for the diverse peoples of Myanmar to develop a stronger culture of human rights, peace building, good governance and the ability to tackle humanitarian crises with a focus on civilian protection.

CSI is led by a diverse group of professionals with extensive leadership experience within international humanitarian agencies. All CSI board and senior management have expertise within the fields of humanitarian and emergency assistance, human rights, civic engagement, youth empowerment, protection and capacity building for civil society organizations.

CSI currently supports diverse stakeholders in Myanmar, Bangladesh and India through several programmatic focus areas: peace building, civilian protection, and youth leadership development.

Job purpose

Manage CBRD Program Team in development CSI, short term and long-term strategy.

Manage in monitor political, economic and social landscape to adequately support in adjusting CSI s strategy, mainly CBRT program

Manage to ensure all activities are implemented according to CSI s strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy Development

Support CSI Program Coordinator and Head of programs in developing project strategy

Monitor political, economic and social landscape of Myanmar to adequately support in adjusting CSI s strategy.

Ensure all program are implemented according to CSI s strategies.

Project Management

The project manager will have the following specific responsibilities:

Develop and oversee robust systems and processes for project planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of CBRD;

Manage all project related activities in a timely manner and with quality performance

Provide ongoing supervision, coaching and guidance to the CBRD project team, including

develop activity plans with individual staff/teams and measure progress against these plans;

Contribute to the drafting of terms of references for local and international consultants/ Trainers and oversee technical leadership and inputs provided by the consultants/ Trainers;

Attend State and township level coordination meetings. Establish and maintain close working relations with the respective State, District and township authorities, and with local and international humanitarian/development organizations;

Carry out regular field visits to project sites villages of Northern Rakhine s townships and travel to Head Office Yangon on the occasion of project activities

Other duties as required to support the realisation of the agreed project objectives.

Financial management

Take overall project based financial responsibility including preparation of cash forecast and support to PC and HOP to preparation of quarterly budget.

Support the financial clearance by each responsible person for project activities to be on time.

Trace and monitor the budget utilization rate regularly with the assistance of the program support and finance staff.

Supervise project staffs in monitoring budgeted and actual expenditures on a monthly basis, and in close collaboration with CSI s finance team;

Ensure high standards of accountability and compliance with CSI s financial policies and procedures.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

Support regular monitoring of indicator tracking table and quality of services together in close coordination with MEAL team.

Support PC regular monitoring of budget utilization rate together with Finance officer.

Manage for the effective distribution and utilization of project materials, community centers, training to community mobilizers and stakeholders and service and report to PC weekly for special change and improvement.

Submit monthly progress report and annual report including activities, work done, challenges, expenses and financial situation to PC and cc to HOP and ED.

Ensure that lessons learnt are well documented and transparent.

Report on emergency incidences, occurrences without delay to PC, HOP and Executive Director.

Narrative (or) Brief Reports of all activities both project and assigned work to, PC and cc to Head of Program and Executive Director including attending meetings, workshop, seminar, training.

Managing and Cooperation

Represent CSI in field-based meetings internally or externally wherever necessary.

Cooperate with other departments to benefit from potential synergies and implement the project in accordance with the guidelines of CSI.

Be focal point in liaising with local government authorities at local level and central level according to guidance by PC, Executive Director or Head of Program.

Perform any other assignments by PC, Executive Director or Head of Program.


Ability to work with challenging and conflict-sensitive environment-Ability to establish, maintains, and fosters cooperative working relations with stakeholders and beneficiaries. -Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and oral in English and Myanmar and must have effective communication, mobilization and team-building and problem-solving skills as well as feasibility outlook-Must have a bachelor degree or relevant education background -Must have at least three years working experiences in related field-Having team spirit and able to build team spirit -Must be well-familiar with logistic and financial system-Being devoted person to development fields-Advanced computer skills (Words, Excel, Power-point, etc.)

Qualifications include:

Bachelor s degree in international development, social science, humanitarianism, or related field of study

Prefer to candidate who can live most of time in project areas and speak local language

Experience of developing quality work for remote community mobilization projects

Minimum 2 years of managing experience in nonprofit sector setting, preferably in peace building, or development.

Self-motivated with the ability to work on local people with multi ethnicities and beliefs.

Ability to produce results in a high pressure and complex environment within tight deadlines and budgets.

Ability and willingness to work closely with others as part of a diverse team.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with culturally and linguistically diverse groups of people.

Strategic thinking and a proven track record of effective theory of change approach and management.

Strong people and team management skills including managing people at conflict sensitive areas.

Good planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills

Solid programmatic and financial preparation and planning skills

A strong network of contacts in relevant fields.

Sound project management skills including project cycle management, community mobilization, monitoring and evaluation.

Upper intermediate written and spoken English.

Physical requirements

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

The ability to ride a motorcycle
