CBM is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. We are looking to recruit as soon as possible an:

HR and Recruitment Specialist

Main objective of the role:

Reporting to the Human Resources Vice President, the position holder will ensure a cost-effective, reliable, timely and quality-driven recruitment process for local personnel and expatriates for developing countries worldwide. Additionally s/he will support the management of the expatriate budget and provide generalist HR support for a small group of employees.

We are looking for someone who will

Recruit medical and non-medical specialists for domestic and international assignments, including emergency response positions
Manage the recruitment process in collaboration with the hiring managers
Support and develop CBM s employer branding in social media
Participate in HR projects such as the implementation of a new application tracking system
Provide advice and HR generalist support to a small group of employees and their managers throughout the full employee life-cycle.
Support the preparation and management of expatriate budgets

We are looking for someone who has

Degree in business administration or HR-related field and/or HR-relevant qualification (CIPD, SHRM, IHK)
Minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Advisor/Officer position with focus on recruitment, preferably in a multinational corporation or an international not-for-profit organisation
Experience of social media in recruitment, employer branding knowledge would be an advantage
Experience in international recruitment and operational HR management. Knowledge of labour law, employment contracts, social security and/or expatriation would be an advantage
Knowledge of AVR DD or similar tariff pay scale systems advantageous
Lived experience of a disability would be an advantage
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package particularly advanced Excel skills).
Professional proficiency in English and German. Knowledge of an additional language would be an advantage
Valid work permit for EU
