Assist in planning, coordinating and managing the implementation of the abovementioned EU-funded and US Dept. of State projects. Conduct all necessary administrative and financial procedure, and prepare the supporting documentation for the implementation of the project activities.

Assist in monitoring and evaluating all project aspects, including proper identification of beneficiaries, according to IOM standards and procedures as well as donor requirements/standards.

Provide inputs to project progress and reports, and assist in ensuring proper information exchange on all operational aspects of the MAD programme between IOM, donors and other project counterparts.

Contribute to establishing and/or maintaining strong and regular liaison with Government entities, civil society organizations, UN agencies, donors and other stakeholders pertaining to the CT project and the MAD programme.

Assist in exploring possibilities to conduct expanded collaboration with relevant authorities and partners on project-related activities and in identifying new project possibilities arising from the IOM CO Egypt s programme in relation to expressed governmental needs, donors priorities and in line with IOM s mandate and strategy.

Provide translation from/to English of all relevant documents pertaining to the CT project and MAD programme as request.

Provide interpretation English-Arabic/Arabic-English at bilateral or multilateral meeting and other events (seminars, workshops, etc.) where MAD staff is involved; draft and translate the pertinent documents (minutes, reports, note for file, agenda, concept note, etc.) when requested.

Attend relevant seminars and meetings to represent IOM as well as other events aimed at promoting IOM s image and activities as requested and delegated by the supervisors.

Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the first and second level supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Experience


Completed university degree from an accredited academic institution in Political or Social Science, Business Administration, International relations and/or Law.


A minimum of 6 years work experience in the field of project management and implementation.

Experience in organizing events, such as training, workshops, awareness raising campaigns, etc. and producing pertaining documentation.

Experience is interpreting at public events and translating documents from/to English.

Sound knowledge of financial and administrative management.

Sound knowledge of counter human trafficking matters is an advantage.
