Key Responsibilities and Account abilities:
The PHC Officer is the person in charge in the PHC.
The PHC officer should do the administrative tasks.
The PHC officer is responsible to follow up on the Health Information System and patient daily database.
Report to the medical officer/ Site manager.
Submission of written monthly reports to the medical officer/ Site manager
Compile monthly reports on all programs and submits them according to the set dates.
Implementation of all policies and guidelines in the facility.
Identify training needs of personnel.
Provide weekly minutes of meetings/in-service training sessions at the clinic.
Setting goals for the clinic in consultation with the clinic staff and the district management team.
Ensuring the clinic is well staffed and equipped.
Identifying training needs, facilitating training.
Monitoring the quality of service delivery.
Coordinating the day-to-day clinical activities.
Working with health care providers to establish policies and procedures where changes are needed.
Monitoring room utilization and maintaining patient flow.
Preparing and maintaining clinic statistics and reports.
Monitoring clinic compliance with quality assurance guidelines.
Ensuring that clinic equipment is maintained.
Monitoring of monthly expenditure statements for budgets.
Coordinate with the medical department to raise required PRs.
Cooperate with the other departments to implement their program such rehabilitation, PSS, and HHP departments.
Coordinate with medical program officer to prepare, review and submit the staff s time sheets on time. Any tasks appointed by the medical department related to the improvement of the quality of the work.
Knowledge and Experience:
Certificate in medicine or any medical background certificate (pharmacy degree, laboratory doctor).
